Well, it’s seen better days, but I’m still not quite ready to get rid of it.
So add this one to the list of cool things I found for free around this house to decorate with.I love cool junk!
Especially when it’s free.Today I’m sharing something sweet, simple, and pretty with you, that I put together last week and that I’m just really enjoying.. All it is: Painted dollar store pumpkins and some milk glass I found at the thrift store the other day..I learned a couple of things here:.1) Open your eyes and pay attention at the thrift store!
I found all of these pieces of milk glass on one trip, except for the low bowl on the far left.It was on my second pass of an aisle, that I happened to spot one piece, then suddenly there was another and another.
A whole little mini collection just waiting there that I hadn’t seen the first time around.
Each piece was around $1-$2.Looking up like that can make you get turned around and you might forget where you were just working when you need to refill your roller.
Just try to work in small square sections, a little at a time and do your best. After you’ve done two light coats.
Let it dry for a bit, leave your roller out, and come back to it once it’s a bit dryer.Look and see if you notice any spots that really obviously need touching up and do it then.
